This study explores quiet quitting, a form of workplace disengagement in which employees perform only their basic job responsibilities without taking on additional duties or emotional commitment. Using a qualitative exploratory approach, the study examines the roles of personality and psychological contracts in influencing quiet quitting. It aims to help managers and HR professionals understand and address employee disengagement while promoting a more engaged, resilient, and committed workforce in the post-pandemic and hybrid work environment.
