    Abstract
This study examines the digital transformation potential of Bangladesh’s maritime sector, focusing on the Port of Chittagong. It identifies major challenges, including manual processes, fragmented data, limited technological integration, weak governance coordination, cybersecurity gaps, poor digital interoperability, and inadequate environmental monitoring. Using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Resource-Based View (RBV), and Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT), the study assesses the port’s digital readiness and institutional capacity. It proposes a five-pillar roadmap covering institutional reform, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, environmental informatics, and stakeholder capacity building. The framework supports Vision 2041 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to develop digitally resilient, sustainable, and globally competitive ports in Bangladesh.
