    Abstract
This study evaluates the antioxidant potential of methanolic extract of Musa balbisiana bracts by measuring total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), and DPPH radical-scavenging activity. The extract showed concentration-dependent antioxidant activity, with an IC50 value of 99.59 μg/mL, while TPC and TFC were 10.91 mg GAE/g and 19.60 mg QE/g, respectively. The findings suggest that Musa balbisiana bracts are a promising source of natural antioxidant compounds with potential applications in functional foods, nutraceuticals, food preservation, and pharmaceutical research.
