| dc.description.abstract | The courts of Bangladesh are facing a severe case backlog, with more than 4.5 million unresolved cases reported as of December 2024. This study highlights the mixed public response to the adoption of AI in the judicial system. While many participants expressed concerns and resistance toward AI implementation, communities reported noticeable benefits when AI was used for advisory and administrative tasks. The findings indicate that AI contributed to a 73% increase in justice literacy, a 60% reduction in case resolution time, and a 41% decrease in financial burdens associated with accessing legal services. These results suggest that AI has significant potential to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the justice system while addressing existing challenges. | en_US |
