| dc.description.abstract | Generational trauma doesn't just exist in memory—it exists in our biology. Epigenetic research illustrates how stress can leave molecular imprints which affect generations. But what if the vessel that bears the wounds also bears the solution? This study explores how the ancient cultural traditions—such as fasting, rhythmic prayer, narrative, and ancestral song—may be more than soothing the spirit; they may form stress-related epigenetic markings. By blending state-of-the-art science with time-honored traditions, this research bridges the biological and spiritual. Rather than trusting in lab tests, it's a full-bodied synthesis of science, cross-cultural knowledge, and historical theory. It's not to legitimize ancient wisdom using lab instruments – but to illuminate its therapeutic power in transcribing inherited suffering. In this context, rituals transcend mere tradition-they are living instruments, capable of re-writing the genetic echoes of trauma passed down through blood, memory, and time. | en_US |
