| dc.description.abstract | This paper provides a reference model for the TempoFlux Economy, a temporal economy aiming to solve the problems of sustainability and inequality of traditional fiat money pattern economies. Applying a mixed-methods approach, we constructed time-based value-creation models, and made quantitative simulations and qualitative analysis in a pilot trial in Greenville, California (n=847 residents). Data collection included participant surveys, community engagement statistics, and environmental impact indicators for a six-month period (January-June 2024). Results include simulations indicating 53% fall in wealth inequality (Gini coefficient 0.75 to 0.35), pilot project results with 42% drop in community emissions, 156% rise in volunteering hours and 78% sustained participation. The conceptual model combines blockchain technology and AI-powered appeal economy and proposes that time banks can offer alternative but sustainable forms of money, safe | en_US |
