Abstract

Co-Management Organization(CMO) congress and Fair 2012 held at IUB on 23-24 March 2012 in which IUB was the venue partner. IUB Debating Club (IUBDC) organized a debate on 'This house would send women as ambassadors to the countries that oppress women' on Wednesday, 28 March 2012. To mark the 41st Independence Day the Division of Students Affairs (DoSA) of IUB organized a series of events through out the month of March. The Department of Environmental Science organized a day-long Environmental Science Colloquium titled Scientific Thinking to Combat Future Challenges on 28 March, 2012 at its permanent campus Bashundhara, Dhaka. Prof. M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Art Exhibition at IUB for observing 41st Independence day called A trilogy of 41st Independence day. Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a talk on 'Right to Information, Good Governance and Accountability' on Thursday, 15 March 2012. Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Information Commission , Bangladesh, was the key-note-speaker.
