Abstract

In this three-month EDGE Project Internship, I will undertake a significant programming project concentrated on developing an advanced E-commerce web application. The primary objective is to cultivate my professional programming skills essential for real-world applications. The project will follow a systematic approach, encompassing stages such as gathering and analyzing functional requirements, designing a scalable database schema, implementing a secure .Net backend, crafting an intuitive Angular frontend, ensuring seamless integration and testing, and deploying the application to a reliable web server. Potential future enhancements include integrating multiple payment gateways, instituting intelligent product recommendations, creating native mobile applications, supporting multiple languages, and incorporating analytics tools for data-driven decisions. Overall, this internship offers an opportunity to cultivate practical programming skills and sets the foundation for a successful career in the programming domain.
