    IUB Library holds session on Turnitin tools, AI writing detection

    Abstract
    The IUB Library, in collaboration with Turnitin, organized a faculty development session on Turnitin Feedback Studio and AI writing detection on 8 September 2026. The session aimed to enhance faculty knowledge of Turnitin and promote academic integrity in higher education. Conducted by Gautam Raval, Customer Success Manager, Turnitin South Asia, the workshop covered plagiarism and text similarity, similarity scores, plagiarism procedures, AI-generated text detection, repository storage options, and management of digital classrooms and assignments. The session was attended by IUB senior leadership, faculty members, and staff, with Junior Assistant Librarian Samina Chowdhury serving as the host.
