    Abstract
The event was jointly organised by IUB’s Kazi Nazrul Islam and Abbasuddin Ahmed Research and Study Centre (KNIAARSC) and the IUB Library to commemorate the anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam. A major highlight was the launch of Kazi Nazrul Islam: Three Plays, an English translation collection featuring Srimanta, Vidyapati, and Vishnupriya, along with 11 songs from Laila-Majnu. The translations were produced by students of IUB’s Department of English and Modern Languages and edited by Professor Ahmed Ahsanuzzaman. The programme also included essay competition awards, musical performances, speeches, and a discussion of the newly published book. Distinguished university officials, researchers, teachers, students, and representatives of the publishing house attended the event.
