Determinants of Corporate Pricing Strategies: A Case from Suriname
Abstract
This paper examines the possible use of pricing strategy as to achieve competitive advantage in a liberalized corporate environment. The relevant influencing factors focus on industrial products, approached from different perspectives. From a conceptual framework, the paper uses Case study methodology to develop a link between determinants of pricing strategies and the characteristics of engineer-to-order (ETOj manufacturing companies. A preferred pricing strategy for engineer-to-order manufacturers should be a combined approach based on different variables and finalized with a process of value negotiations to meet customer satisfaction in a given scenario.
