A WORKING REPORT ON THE TREASURY & IPO DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL HOUSING FINANCE AND INVESTMENT

Abstract

As part of the Internship Program BBA 499A of Bachelor of Business Administration course requirement, I have chosen National Housing Finance and Investment for doing my internship for the period of 3 months. I have started there form the month September to end of November. I was assigned in the Treasury department of the corporate office Kawran Bazar. I have also worked in share department of the company since the company has gone to Initial Public Offering this year October. My organizational supervisor was Mr. Jayed Hussain, Head of Treasury and Mr. Russell Head of IPO. I prepared a working report on the Treasury and IPO department of National Housing Finance and Investment which was assigned by the Faculty supervisor Mr. M Murshed Haider, Lecturer in Finance. The working report is prepared in such a way so that it can give an overview about the Treasury department, IPO department and as well as some other department of NHFIL. I have described the working process of that department and the Work that I have performed and identified few problems that I have experienced from my work environment. This working report will guide us in a way, which will introduce with the process of Purchase Order (PO) creation and also dealing with local and foreign suppliers from selection to contract signing. While preparing this report I used both primary and secondary data. The secondary data was collected from several websites and National Housing Finance And Investment Treasury Department. The primary data was collected through short discussions and interviews within the organization.
