Sales Trend Monitoring System (STMS) of Beximco Pharma

Abstract

Sales Trend Monitoring System (STMS) is a web application engineered for employees to monitor sales and analyze sales trend. Data is very important resource in the present time as it holds important value which enables organizations to manage business. STMS helps employees tack progress of sales in real time. It provides control of sales process which can be utilized to increase sales performance. The application allows users to upload sales files which is read by the system. In this process, data is extracted from the uploaded file and then sorted and stored at the backend of the SQLite server. The system allows user to enter dates preferred to search for data frames and graphs to analyze and monitor sales trend. Users can select preferred chart choices, namely, pie chart, bar chart and line chart. The search can be resulted by transaction id or sales date. After setting all the search preferences and selecting search, the data frames, namely, Sales Data Frame, Positions Data Frame, Merged Data Frame is displayed on the screen along with the preferred chart and result. Forecasted graph is displayed to provide sales forecast. Users can add new reports and save it which is available on the Reports page. The sales details are available for each transaction. The main objective of the application is to provide users with fast calculations, sales trends and forecasted analytics.
