    Abstract
This study tested a structural equations model of the French and Raven bases of supervisory power (coercive, reward, legitimate, expert, and referent), strategies of managing conflict with supervisor (problem solving and bargaining), and propensity to leave a job. ............... These findings can be explained in term of individualistic-collectivist dimension of the national culture. We discuss implications of the findings for organizations, limitations of the study, and directions for future research.
