    Abstract
This study evaluated the antioxidant activity of Hedyotis corymbosa (L.) Lam. (Rubiaceae) collected from Bangladesh using n-hexane, chloroform, and methanol extracts of the whole plant. Seven in vitro antioxidant assays were conducted, including DPPH, hydroxyl radical scavenging, total antioxidant capacity, FRAP, and lipid peroxidation inhibition. The chloroform extract showed the highest total phenolic and flavonoid contents and slightly stronger antioxidant activity than the methanol extract, while the n-hexane extract demonstrated the weakest activity. The findings highlight the plant’s antioxidant potential and provide scientific support for further pharmacological research.
