IUB launches English translations of three Nazrul plays

Abstract

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) launched a collection of English translations of three plays by national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam to mark his 70th death anniversary. The university's Kazi Nazrul Islam and Abbasuddin Ahmed Research and Study Centre and IUB Library jointly organised the programme on Thursday (27 August), according to a press release. The book, "Kazi Nazrul Islam: Three Plays", brings together translations of "Srimanta", "Vidyapati" and "Vishnupriya".
