Risk Mitigation in Software Engineering: Practices, Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract

The titled as ‘Risk Mitigation in Software Engineering: Practices, Challenges and Opportunities’ combines three separate studies that were done focusing on security requirements gathering, risk management practices in software development projects and use of system modeling in software development. The studies were all done on Bangladesh based software firms to gain their perspectives and identify and investigate the challenges and present a guideline addressing those. The studies helped to gather insights on the scenario of the firms based in Bangladesh and contributed to the research experience.
