    Abstract
National Credit & Commerce Bank Limited has set up a new standard in financing in the Industrial, Trade and Foreign exchange business in Bangladesh. Its various deposit and credit products have also attracted the clients-both corporate and individuals who feel comfort in doing business with the Bank. Being a Finance student, I was assigned to the General Banking department where I could actively involve myself in an interesting learning experience that would aid my understanding of the conceptual knowledge. From the beginning of my appointment to the organization, I learnt how to deal with pay orders, demand draft, different types of accounts and deposits, foreign remittance, and clearing of cheques, etc.
