An Undergraduate Internship/Project on “Azure Cloud Computing Service”

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to accumulate the details of my experience while working with the project “Azure Cloud Computing Service” at Grameen Communications. My work assignment included leveraging technologies like Microsoft Cloud Computing service, Virtual Machine and Azure App Service to develop and deploy application and database servers to host the application on Microsoft cloud. Throughout this experience, I have gained knowledge about Microsoft Cloud Computing service, different cloud computing resources, SQL Virtual Machine, SQL database .In order to clear my basic knowledge and work in the Azure portal efficiently I also gave Microsoft AZ-900 certification exam and got the certification. Moreover Grameen Communications is focused on implementing new ways and accelerating their service by implementing cloud technology in their latest infrastructure. This report concludes itself through discussion on the problems faced during the implementation of the project, the performance that the current version of the project provides after handling the problems that had arisen during implementation and the future scope of this project.
