Researchers evaluated several parametric estimators for estimating the difference in means of two populations. Estimators include the ordinary-t, two versions proposed by Welch (1938) and Satterthwaite (1946), there versions proposed by Zhou and Dinh (2005), Hohson and Hall. A simulation study has been made to compare the performance of the selected estimators. Some real life business examples have been considerd to illustrate the application of the methods. Some possible parametric intervals estimators have been proposed fro future researchers, applied workers and other professionals.UTF-8
